HEELS
When we dance in heels, we physically and energetically elevate ourselves to a higher level of being. In this style of dancing, we will be working with different goddesses to bring out the most embodied version of ourselves. Cultivating confidence, self-love, and joy through dancing in Heels!
BURLESQUE
The Burlesque style of movement is one that is enchanting and mystical. Because the movement is more sensual, it takes you into the deeper parts of yourself that need love and healing. We will be working with Crystals along with our dance classes in order to tap into different energies and express who we are fully.
LATIN BALLROOM
Latin Ballroom was my first-love when it comes to dancing. This style of dance is energetic, powerful, and brings out our BIG QUEEN ENERGY. We will be working with my favorite pop-culture queens (Britney, J.Lo, and Beyonce) as we empower ourselves to be unapologetically bold and go after everything we desire.
YOGA
To be a complete and magical being, we must include feminine movement (soft, easeful) with masculine movement (forward moving, fast). That's why I always recommend infusing yoga into your daily movement practice. We will be working with various oracle cards and teachings as we call into our lives that which will serve us, and release what does not.

ABOUT ME: ASHLYN TORI
From the moment I discovered dance, it became my entire life. I wanted nothing more than to be a professional latin dancer, competing around the world and performing on Dancing With the Stars. But the ballroom world almost destroyed me. My self-esteem was at an all time low, I relied on others (especially dance partners) to make me feel good about myself, and my body broke down with multiple injuries.
Something had to change. I had to change.
Around this time I discovered the dance styles of Burlesque and Heels, and I am not exaggerating when I say they changed my entire life! Not only did the community embrace me with open arms, but they taught me how to be confident in exactly who I was, and that I was so so so worthy of love : mostly from myself, but also others.
I created Studio Sol y Luna so that I could give you all of the amazing tools that I have learned from these forms of embodied movement, and I cannot wait to see the transformation they bring for you!

After taking my first heels class I was immediately hooked. Dancing in heels has allowed me to express myself fully in ways that I hadn’t felt in years. I love this style of dance because it forces me to literally level “up” in every way imaginable. It also constantly empowers me to take charge of my sensuality, something that has been defined FOR me since I was young.
There is no better example and mentor for this type of leveling up than Ashlyn. She is the embodiment of her higher self in a way that we should all aspire to. I am so incredibly grateful to have been introduced to this style of dance by her. Taking classes with Ashlyn has let me explore the areas of ballroom, burlesque and heels: dance genres I never knew about if not for Ashlyn.
